Created Issue: Issue accessing tables with uniqueidentifier datatype column [33902]

Hi Team,

I am unable to view the table content with the columns of datatype "uniquidentifier" using sql web administrator tool->query option.

Can you please help me on this.

One thing that would help you guys immensely so that you don't have to browse the directory on IIS is to put default.aspx at the top that way that is the first file the server looks for. In fact, you shouldn't allow directory browsing at all accept on certain directories that contain downloadable content.

When I put it in Windows Server 2008 it gives me fallowing error:

My installation succeeded following the above steps, however after logging in to the web server I was presented with a com exception: CLSID {10020200-E260-11CF-AE68-00AA004A34D5} error: 80040154, as mentioned above. I'm running a windows server 2003 OS with SQL 2008 Express edition. To remedy the problem i installed the Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Feature Pack, August 2008. There are a number of executables in this pack, the sql server 2005 compatibility pack is the specific pack that needs to be installed to make this work with SQL server 2008. Hope this helps. Hi everyone! I'm currently testing this application and so far I have no complaint. However, I'm having a little issue with the authentication. I installed the website in a Windows 2003 R2 Server with IIS 6 and followed the instructions about the setup of the installation. I created an Application Pool just for the website and configured the security with the anonymous check disabled in the website. Testing the connection to an instance sharing the same server with the website it gives me no problem. In the log file appears an audit record stating that my Active directory user just logged sucessfully. However, when I try to log into an instance installed in another server the authentication fails and in the SQL Server log appears the message "Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON'. [CLIENT: <webserver ip>]".

I'm at a loss about the source of this error. It obviuosly states that my credentials are not being sent to the server but I cannot find how to fix this.

Did I skipped something in the configuration?

I am running MS Windows Server 2008 and had several of the problems listed above. To simplify and condense some of the responses, this is what I did: Extract the sqlwebadmin subfolder to a folder in an existing web site. Convert the folder to an application Right-click on the folder / Manage Application / Advanced Settings - Change application pool to Classic .Net AppPool Double-click on Authentication, click on Windows Authentication, click on Enable [These next two steps you will need to adjust for your situation and security needs.] In Active Directory Create a user called sqlWebAdmin Create a SQL login for each person who will be accessing the databases Now, when you go to the web administrator (yourdomain.com/sqlwebadmin) you will first get a login where you use the active directory sqlWebAdmin login. Then you will get a second login request where you specify the user and server to connect to using SQL authentication. There are several options available once you get the issues resolved by performing the steps in the first half. You could create individual users in AD and give them permissions to the appropriate databases instead of using SQL Authentication.

You may need to update SQLDMO.dll under the folder /SqlWebAdmin/bin

I am also trying to connect to a SQL Server 2008 Database. When I try, I get the following error:
